perfect i want to buy a DSMLINK later this year , but for now i just want to know if its safe to run like this

Do as they suggested. Using a Pocketlogger, monitor your timing, O2's, etc. An EGT gauge would be an extra nifty investment. Check what your car is running at now, and figure out what it likes. However, if you don't feel like doing it the right way, another indicator that you're running too much boost would be the pistons shooting out from the hood of your car. Very noticable and obvious. Some might dare venture it as idiot proof.

...personally, I'd just spring for the logger and gauges. *shrugs*

- i agree- invest in a suitable AFC+logger- insurance would say EGT- its an immediate indication- it sounds like our upping later on- so you might as well- other than that- i would say the only thing stopping you is your T-(2 small)25 turbo, from hitting higher boosts

You guys didn't read that very carefully did you? ;) He has an Autometer EGT AND A/F installed. Good advice though...

Since that A/F is likely a wideband and you have an EGT, turn the boost up and keep an eye on your gauges. They'll tell you if you're running too much boost. Like posted above though, 15psi is fine. I don't think the T-25 is worth turning up past that.

True, I missed the EGT (my bad?), but I saw the A/F and just assumed it was the blinky light, take up space kinda gauge. Personally, I like tuning, oh I dunno...all throughout my RPM band not just at WOT. You are correct in saying that the good ol' T25 isn't much good past 15psi and not worth anything past 5500 RPMs. I say dial in it at 16 psi and see what happens!
