This problem just started a couple days ago but I just notice that fire was coming out tonight.

When im in second gear and on around 4k it makes a LOUD POP noise and fire shoots out while it pops it stops boosting but then once the pop is gone it boosts then pops again then I have to shift.

Ive only seen this problem in second cause once I noticed it I stopped driving it WOT

Could my air/fuel mixture be wrong? To much fuel not enough air so Im getting gas in my tail pipe that explodes?

Help Please!

it venting.

I have a SAFC but its all default settings

This weekend im changing my injector o-rings cause im leaking air out of the middle 2.
And I have to set my FPR for around 43 or 44psi (thats correct setting right)

Do you have a MAFT setup to safely vent? if not you should put the recirc. tube back on.

Unless you have a MAFt, put your recirc tube back on. And don't take it off till you do have MAFt. :)

What is a MAFT? Where can I get it? And why do I need one?

Ive never heard of it. Sorry. :(

I have hard UICP, ill have to cut the pipe? Then place that in between the TB and the BOV?

Thanks for the help yall!!

Yeah, but theoretically the MAF can be run in a "suck-through" method instead of "blow-through." I think it would be more accurate as close to the throttle body as you can get it, which is why so many people put it within a few inches of the TB anyway.

The pipes start after the turbo..

im confused too. i believe he was trying to say on the intake pipe. it is better to have it between the bov and tb, so it can read the adjustments from the venting.

If it's popping while you're accelerating then it's your tune. The bov doesn't matter. Right now it's probably running too rich and your plugs are probably fouled out as well.

I just changed my plugs and wires last weekend.

I just put the tube back on but I havnt drove it yet so ill post the results.
