What do the Knock Values represent?

When the knock sensor says 3, what is that three representing?

Knock sensors measure the amount of times it knock in one ignition cycle. The whole 4 stroke cycle. It measures the intensity of the knock. 3 is a very low number. I have seen it as high as 110 before in some cars with a very poor tune. 3 raises no reason for concern but if it bothers you, you can try and tune your way out of it.

A number of things. RPM's, Boost Psi, Octane, A/F Ratio, Airflow, etc.
