apex'i turbo timer questions

i might be having an alt. problem (less than 1.5k on the alt ) and i want to get a volt meter to check if its putting out the proper charge.

i was wondering if the volt meter and o2 sensor voltage meter on the apex'i turbo timer were at all accurate and reliable. why i ask is that i could use a turbo timer and i need a voltage read out for my alt and o2 sensor and i thought its sensible to buy all 3 combined. also ive heard that the sfacII o2 voltage meter gives false readings from putting too much strain on the circiut.

I wouldn't trust the thing to tune my car with the 02 readings if thats what you are asking. However Im confident in its ability to display the batteries voltage. I have and Apex'i TT with voltage and 02 ability I just use it to TT my car what do I need to see the voltage for?
