Car weights

What do our cars actually weigh. I know this question has been answered some where but I can't seem to find it. And the weight on the door is with passengers and luggage and what not. Is there anyone who has actually weighed our cars, particularly a 91 GSX . Thanks

How come it says 3400 lbs on the side of my car door????

It says that because your car door adds occupant weight plus luggage, that was my understanding any way.
