Who saved the Taboo Vac/wire diagram for emissions?

It's not hard to do yourself w/o the diagram if you know a bit about these cars. Need a hand IM me via AIM, TSi 93.
 
EGR line removal is simple. The thermostat housing has a fitting called a thermovalve with 2 nipples on it that split into 4 lines. Remove the lines from the thermovalve on the stat housing and all related/connected lines. 2 go to nipples on the throttle body that will require plugging. That's it. You can remove the EGR and cover the opening with a plate, homemade or store bought or just leave the EGR there as it will be in the inoperatve postion without lines running to it. Using a plate makes it a bit cleaner though you can hardly see the EGR. mark
 
Here is a couple from the 1G, but their is not much difference. Hope that helps.

I was going to use it for to identify a solenoid. The 98-99s have the charcol canister solenoid on the side of the intake manifold. I had no clue what it was because all the other years have it on the firewall and it looks completely different. Problem solved, thanks for the responses :)
 
Remember when Taboo had that write up to get rid of some vacuum hoses and what not. Well where I live I don't have to do emissions on the Talon. So does anyone have the write up with pics? I tried that taboo link but its no longer available. It would be nice to clean the engine bay up and have less hoses to check for boost leaks. thanks
 
I put in a couple of different searches and found one from last month. I did a search before this thread but didn't find anything but finally bingo..Now to make sense of it

Let me get this straight So I just follow those 6 lines to wherever they go correct? unplug all the hoses from the 6 spots that are marked in red. Then cap off the 6 ports and I'm gtg? Thanks

Also which pic should I use because the first one has it where you plug 4 ports on the Intake Manifold then t right below that pic there is one that has 5 ports plugged on the Intake manifold, 4 on the TB and 1 on the manifold. then below those 2 there is another pic of 2 more diagrams so I dont know of the 4 pics to use. Thanks

I can't find any somewhat active taboo vacuum stuff so I chose to bring this one back. Don't you get like all kinds of check engine lights on the 2g and fail emissions?
 
CELs are generated when an electrical component returns an out-of-range value to the ECU.

Those trying to use the Wayback for Taboo's old information, the well is dry. Martin seems to have roboted his pages as a final nose-thumb to the community.
