Balance shaft stub shaft in VFAQ work for 2G?

I am taking out my balance shafts and was reading VFAQ about it. It says to get "MD098626 Balance shaft stub shaft" to eliminate the rear shaft, but the tutorial is for a 1G. Is there any difference with a 2G and will this stub shaft still work?

I just had this done on my 2g, stubby shaft and all. So I can easily say that you can use the stubby shaft. The ONLY thing that'll be different is one of the pulleys, after a certain build date (in 95 sometime I think) it was a bit different part) or so said the parts guy at mitsu

There's an article in the DSMTuners tech guide, on balance shaft removal. In the article, you just cut off the balance shaft to make your stub shaft(s).

I'd rather do it the right way and get the stubby shaft from the galant.
