well...i'm sitting at 57,694 miles on my dsm, so i figured its about time to start looking around for stuff (the timing belt kit, an engine hoist and other stuff) anyways.. i am probably going to take my balance shafts out just because i'll have it ripped apart and be able to do it, but my main question is.. how much of a vibration will i get from it? i know that some engines are more balanced than others, i dont want massive vibration where it feels like the car is falling apart.. i was probably going to do polyurethane engine mounts as well.. so i will get even more vibration... so just let me know how some of you guys like the shafts out... and my next question is, where would be the best place to get a 60K kit.. i know Slowboy, MachV, Buschur and the dealer sells them, but so far, SBR impresses me the most.. so yeah, i guess thats it, just kind of trying to watch my money, the last time i got something from the dealer, it was a crank pulley and that cost me $145... so it set me back..it was more than a speeding ticket! :notgood: .. so yeah..help a guy out here.thanks :dsm:

I don't have my kit installed yet; however i got my kit from ffwd connection and the kit looks awesome. It's all genuine mitsu parts and i had it at my door in 2 days. Im also curious to see how bad vibration is with bs eliminated and polyeurothane mounts because i was thinking of doing the same thing.

I know mines removed, but I don't ever know that it is :) Honestly, I have totally forgotten about the balance shaft being removed, I don't ever remember feeling a difference :)

My block is 7 bolt JDM out of a 94 VR-4 with rods out of a 90 and 2G pistons, fully ported except the o2 sensor housing (because of boost creep) and I don't notice any difference.

Although I don't have the poly mounts, I doubt you would feel much more vibration, if any.
