I have decided to get rid of the oem fuel filter when i upgrade my lines
since the entire set up will be 6an all the way around
i went with the earls 6an filter

does it matter where i put it
the oem one is between the tank and the pump
but i have seen various kits place them anywhere between the tank and the rail so i was wondering what is the best setup

also
any problems with the earls kit
its the one with the stainless steel insert

I know of one person who uses the earls fuel filter and has no complaints....I highly doubt where you mount the filter will matter...BTW that the fuel filter looks really nice....how much did it run you? Not to mention the fuel filter isn't something you change all that often so I personally wouldn't mind dropping a pretty penny on one..

from summit racing it was 31 dollars

main reasons why i went with it
1. price
2. it has 6an fittings so no need for adapters like the aeromotive
3. earls has a good rep
4. when it clogs you unscrew it and clean or replace the mesh
