Hey guys whats up well they are selling me a 6bolt longblock from a Galant VR4 for $1200 but the only thing is that it does not come with the turbo or its manifold and no tranny. i wanted to know if it was a good price to pay for it in this condition? I also wanted to know if I can put my 2g manifold on the 6 bolt block? is there any other thing i should look out for it to have so i can put it in my 2g or is all i need there?

Ummm, what is its condition? Rebuilt? over/under 100k mi.? compression? leak down tests done?

the engine is not rebuilt. It is an imported engine, so yea it has less than 100k miles i have not performed the leakdown or the compression tests because i wanted to know first if i could use this engine to drop in my gst and just use my 2g turbo and manifold. so lets pretend that everything checks out ok. would it be worth it and can i use my 2g manifold?

When I was shopping around for a motor, I was quoted about the same price, maybe around 1100 w/o manifolds. You can use your stock exhaust manifold off of your 2g but I'm not sure about the intake manifold.
