Can I Set the TT, take the key out, and put it back in?

I have a '97 GS-T and I am using an old school HKS TT. I want to know if I can take the key out and let the TT idle the car for a number of minutes, but before the car shuts off, stick the key back in and turn the TT off, keeping the car running the whole time? Would I just turn it to the "ON" position or what? Thanks guys.

i have the blitz tt and yes, you can do that. Why havent you tried? The turbo timer should continue counting down and then just go back to normal.

Thanks alot! I didn't want to try it in fear of hurting something, and thought it better to ask first. So, I'm guessing I just put the key back in, and turn it to the "ON" position. I will try whenever I get my car back.
