aight, Greddy Type S BOV, the little adjustment screw on top of it, dont ask how the heck i stripped it, but i stripped the INSIDE of the BOV...the bolt is perfectly fine, but i have a tap and die and i was going to get it to a 1/4 X 20 thread size but i was wondering what i need to do about the shavings, will they go down in the BOV and be harmful or what???

Thanks :dsm:

If you are going to re tap it, which works if you up the bolt size, just take apart the bov. Tap it while it is in half, clean it, and put it back together.

I did something similar on my friends Type S.

I baught my type s used and when i baught it it was stripped so i just drilled the whole bigger tapped it and put in a big set screw with a jamb nut it works great even though it looks kinda goofy with a bigger bolt/nut combo on it
