i put my egr blockoff plate in use taboo diagram. i drove my car for about 20 miles and my check engine light comes on and i got to reset my ecu and is there a reason why it does that or mybe i hookit up wrong can anybody help me

Don't type like that. :rolleyes:

You have obdII, it is constantly checking the position of the egr. If you totally get rid of it or unplug it, then it can't do that, so it will throw a code. I'm sure there is some easy way to fix it, check vfaq or something.
