I had a fuel filter installed on my car and when I got home I adjusted the base fuel pressure a tad now all of a sudden the car runs like absolute crap. The vacuum used to be at 15 now its at 10, the car sputters bad, theres gas in the tail pipe (maybe oil not sure), and now the egt's are like 400 degrees at idle when they used to be 800-900. Did my timing skip or something for some reason? Please reply if you have any ideas, thanks.

My fuel pressure is set to stock, I got the filter installed at the dealer. It ran fine when they pulled it out of the garage. Drove it 2 minutes home, changed the fuel pressure down a little and then all of a sudden it ran like crap. Since then Iv tried multiple changes to the fuel pressure, retightened fpr, and pt stock injectors back in. No change.

edit: Should I call the dealer up? I just don't wanna get raped in charges from them if its not their fault.

i have the same problem!...my vac is a lot lower then usual, and the idle is terrible...does your car also accel different? like not as clean? if u find anything let me know! :thumb:

Many different problems can cause low vacuum. But I will look into it,

You are correct many factors contribute to low vac, but i always like to start simple.

I broke down and schedualed an appointment with my dealer. Ill reply about how it went.

edit: Dealer called and said it was a loose injector wire. Blamed it on there mechanic, which is nice. Going to get the car now.
