Punishment Racing O2 Dump?

Has anyone installed a punishment racing o2 dump made from mild steel and mig welds? How does it hold up? I just dont feel like spending the extra $145 on SS and tig welds.

I've got the recirc 2.5" O2 from them. I can't give you any long term feedback yet but after only 3 days of driving with it on and making MAYBE one run to red line in 3rd, the coating is bubling and flaking off. I can rub it off with my finger now. I'd buy it uncoated and have it jet coated if I could do it again.
