ok, I got a jdm engine that came with the tranny and then the tranny don't mach the numbers that the 1990 dsm turbos awd have, so here I am looking for those damn numbers and the tranny has this numbers on the top "C51PHFP8221" and I also lookd all around the tranny and under the tranny it has this numbers "MD720131" can any one please help me find out what kind of tranny I got?

JDM tranny's come with a different final drive ratio. Just use a US tranny, otherwise you'll probably run into problems.

Exactly, plus you have a 90 and you need a 90 trans for your car becasue they are a bit different then the 91-94. You could find cables and a shifter, in the car, from a 91-94 and then use a 91-94 tranny.

so is this tranny from a 91-92 dsm???

There are no DSM's in Japan there are only EVO's and Galants. That is what your tranny came from if it a JDM tranny. I would try and find a good used 90 tranny in the states. try the trader or the classifieds on here.

but I want to know if anyone knows this numbers I have on that tranny, anyone?

i have a 90 eclipse gsx and i just bought a tranny that was supposed to be from a 94 tsi awd. i got it and its model c51ph, which is from an 88-89 jdm gvr4. it has a 22 spline output shaft. have you got your tranny bolted up yet? i dont know if these transmissions have a different final gear ratio or not as i cant seem to find much information on them. anyways, i was just wondering how your stuff turned out.

It works really good you only have to swap one of the linkage from the one you are taking out, it works good I haven't had any issues :thumb:
