Manual Computer in an Auto?

Can you direct swap a Manual Computer into a Automatic car when upgrading to 450cc injectors to correct the fuel curve without any problems?

I have a 93 AT and will be installed a 14b with 450cc injectors
What year ECU's are interchangeable and will it work?

aren't the 1g auto's electronically controlled (hence the power/economy switch?)

I would imagine you'd be running into some problems, but perhaps someone who's done that before has some advice for you (me not having played with an auto dsm)

The automatic transmission has it's own computer to control it, but back to your question I'd personally just buy an AFC to correct the injectors and use the ECU that you already have.

I have a 91 Automatic and installed a 14B and 450's...I thought about switching ECU's but I just bought an AFC to control my fuel curve.

YES, Any ECU from 91-94 for a MT car will run perfectly in a AT car with 450cc injectors and a bigger turbo. The AT TCU controls the trans not the ECU. My car did it for months till i upgraded to 650's, 2g MAS, Walbro 255, AFPR, and a SAFC to control the larger than stock injectors.

Would a 90 5spd ecu work in a 93 at ?

From what I read yes it will work, but you have to rewire a few wires.

If possible just pick up a 91-94 to save teh hassle
