Hey guys i have a 1990 Eagle Talon TSI FWD. I have internally done 2g pistons and lifters. I have a 2g MAF, 550cc injectors, hard intake, act 2100 clutch, Thermal 3'' turbo back exhaust, 16g turbo, tubular header, and a manual boost controller. I recently went to the track for the first time and my best time was 14.9 at 99 mph. not bad for a fwd my friends say, but with the setup i have i know it should be better. I couldnt get traction out there. Any ideas would help alot. Either on stuff to get traction and anything else. Thanks

I was running my street tires which are just some genertic all seasons and my suspenion is stocks struts and some kind of racing springs that were on the car when i bought it.

What size wheels are you running? If they're 17's or 18's you'd be better off with some 16's. The stock struts aren't helping any either I'm sure. :(

:ohdamn: If all else fails, read the profile.:ohdamn:

I now see you have 18's. You need some more sidewall on the tire. If you get some 16's for the front with like a 225/50-16 you'll have a lot better traction and launching characteristics. That with some better struts would definitely yield some better times.:)

My profile is of my 2g my track issues is of my 1g i have stock rims on the car which are 16's. My 60ft time is whats killing my 1/4 mile time. 60ft is were my traction issue lies. My running 2.8 on my 60ft time id like to get it down to like 2.0-2.4.
