East Coast Road Trip IV ** Back To Myrtle Beach**
Ok guys. We are gonna do it again this year.
We are going to have another EAST COAST ROAD TRIP to Myrtle Beach.
The dates are set to be:
Arriving Friday Feb 20th
Leaving Sunday Feb 22nd
Like other road trips we are planning on having a group dinner Saturday night. Again the proposed dinner spot will be www.dickslastresort.com .
As before we are going to have a photo shoot in front of the hard rock cafe pyramid.
More info about hotels will be soon to follow.
I am going to try something different with this trip and actually set up a small itinerary of things to do while there.
I would also like to hear input of other things that people are interested in doing.
Lets get it rolling.

I'm in...and so is the Laser
I will go ahead and challenge the Dick's dinner. WAY to much cash for barely any food...though it is the atmosphere you pay for. I can't think of a suitable alternative at the moment.

Kris, we will consider another dinner location.
The hotel is yet to be determined. Should not be a problem finding a room this time of year.
Last year we stayed right in the center of the action but the hotel was a total DIVE and I am not gonna go out like that again this year.

Kris, remember where we ate for lunch on "Broadway at the beach"?
The place was called "Joes Crab Shack" http://www.joescrabshack.com/index.asp
The place had huge tables and a decent menu, The place could seat a huge crowd nd then after dinner we could go to one of the nice clubs at Broadway at the beach.
For those who do not know, this is Broadway at the beach.,
http://www.broadwayatthebeach.com/
There are a few NICE places to eat and also a nice selection of clubs and shopping. Give me some imput on this.
Also, what is a good price range for hotel roms that everyone wants? Me personally, If I have to shack up with some others to get a NICE room I will. Believe me if you want cheap, you will have to sleep with some roaches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As for the price for hotel rooms, I also don't want to stay in a cheap dive, but I don't want to spend an arm and leg. Once you find something, let me know, and I am going to try to make some money for it. Hope to be able to go, JB

I'll be there as well as the RS this time. No mods or tranny rebuilds planned so the neon can stay at home this time.
The place at Broadway at the Beach is fine for me. The only problem I had with Dick's was the number of people that had to pony up extra money to cover someone else's lack of paying. That was on a personal level and not a planning problem though.
I'm sure you'll find a good place for us to crash at. I'll look for the info and plan accordingly.
