Not sure why this hasn't been posted on any DSM forums, but here is the Info for this year's GT8...

This event is hosted by Capital Area DSM, and usually has a turnout of over 100 cars of all DSM varities, ranging from galants and colts, to evo8's.

CONTESTS

Fastest AWD/FWD (1st, 2nd and 3rd)
- Bring a timeslip
- Car can be on a trailer

“King of Bling” Cleanest Car (1st, 2nd and 3rd)
- Cleanest, shiniest

Go Fast with Class (1st, 2nd and 3rd)
- Street Legal – with valid tags and registration
- Race Prepped
- FULL interior from rear seat forward
- ALL exterior body panels in place

Raffle TICKETS
$5.00 each or 5 for $20.00
MANY great prizes will be given away from vendors who have graciously donated their parts (and time). MachV Motorsports and Slowboy Racing will be in attendance, as well as others.

We will also have an AWD dyno in attendance thanks to Slowboy Racing. The cost is $50 (FWD) or $100 (AWD) with some of the proceeds going back to the club.

It's worth your time to swing by! I love just seeing 8-10 galants mininum showing up. Where else will you find 8-10 galants just parked in a row? I hope the evo crowd makes a good showing too and having the dyno there with all the soccer mom's and little league dads will make for an interesting day of fun.

I can't speak for bill, but I and many other DSMer's will be in attendance at the commuter lot meet of 95 (exit 160) can't miss it. I believe that meet starts around 7:30?? anyone know?

Yes, I'll be at the Megameet after GT8. And VaBoys2ndGen, you should definately come out to GT8, hell, we could probably install the boost gauge and (obviously) the MBC there! It would NOT be the first time we installed parts at a meet...everyone in Team Trinity knows whats up.

Slowboy Crew- It was great to see a few most of your again and it was great meeting more of you. We'll be sure to make it up there sometime soon to see how you do up in your neck of the woods.

I showed up waaayy too late I think. I was about to head out when this guy came over and asked me to take off his fenders real quickly, he may be giving me his brand new hid kit so im being nice . Anyways, I get it off and he is like, yeah I need em off so I can take off my headlights, im like oh #### no you dumbass. So I took off the front bumper and headlights threw em back on along with the fenders. Then it took me a goddamn hour in traffic to get over there. I left my house at 1pm, left my driveway at around 4:20 andn got to the meet at 5. Oh well I stayed at the Mid-Atlatnic meet most of the night.
