VIR HPDE: June 18-19, 2005 Danville, VA

I am going to register for the full course at VIR (all 4.2 miles of it) for the June 18-19 event late this Spring. The event is sponsored by Mazda Driver's It would be cool if a few DSMs showed up. I am in Lynchburg and will be in attendance with a bunch of fellow car guys from this area. There will hopefully be a Supra there, a SVT mustang, an FD and a Corvette. Might talk some other guys into showing up with a GTi and maybe Mike will show up with his Viper. It should be a great time!

Check out Mazdadriver's website. The cost for this event is $400. Typical events for a full course VIR is usually about $300-340 depending on the group hosting the event. This event is more, but they have to pay more corner workers and pay more to rent the entire track. I think it will be worth it.

I've sent in my money. According to the website, the first 3-days had over 80 people signup online. Typical events only have 120-150 folks, so this event is likely 1/2 sold out already.
