:talon: Hey I'm Looking to get the Rhode Island DSM'er Mainly Eclipse and Talon owners together. I've noticed there haven't been alot of meets in this state. What i do notice is guys AND some GIRLS driving left and right in DSM's!! If your interested Let me know. Based on participation and weather conditions We'll talk about locations for us to get together. My Aim name is always on and the email is the same for AoL. So post back and we'll see what we can get going! I still haven't found a rhode island car club so with the right kind of people maybe we could keep this thing alive. :talon:
 
Man I just left there on deployment! I will be back in the spring. I blew my 96 GS-T up while I was there but found some decent 1G's laying around. Wanted to find some other DSM'ers to link up with when I was there but no luck. Will be back in the spring after I get off this deployment to Iraq plan on dropping a 6-bolt in im towing up from NC. I have a pile of parts if anyone needs or wants anything local. Will sell the shell to possibly. Pulled the motor and tranny before I left. Should be back in May. Someone give me a heads up on where to meet some local RI dsm'ers while im there.
 
Well, I just bought a 1990 eagle talon tsi, and have been working on it to get it street worthy. I would love to find a club to join seeing how I am basically alone in Scituate. Also, being new to DSM's, I would love some help from some fellow DSM'ers.

So how about we try and get this thing rolling!

I live in Prov and see tons of dsms, but no clubs that I know of. I've been out of the scene for a while but would like to link up with some people and get back into it. hit me up at [email protected] with any details about local meetings. And is anyone going to Nopi in New Hampshire in July? Would like to go up there in dsm force if you know what I mean
 
If my cars in bad shape am i still able to meet up? Seriously cash is the only thing stopping me for making it a nice car, well that and the know how oh and a garage. NEW ENGLAND is to damn cold to be working on the car outside in nothing less then cold weather gear.

Any Dsm'r in or Newport?
 
When the weather warms up we should all meet somewhere and anyone with a dsm doesnt matter if its not looking to good it shouldnt matter.

Hey, I'm down for the meets. I'm from MA, but my friend I help mod with goes to college at Johnson and Wales right in providence and he has his DSM with him. I'll keep checking for the meets. I'm sure is down. He's been looking for DSM's there for months now, just doesnt seem like he gets any luck with anyone.

lets see where everyone is from i am here in NEWPORT, RI. if we're going to get together i might be wise to wait until its a little warmer but hey thats just me i mean i am down for anything i just hate the cold. March should have some good weather anyone intrested?

I believe your the one who jioned FYC.. Around april until it gets cold, we have meets in Colt State Park. I believe thats in Bristol, or Warren RI.
We are trying to get somthing together with friends and newcomers. We had something called South Shore DSM but that died out seeing alot of the members have moved on.
Like I said before, If you havn't already. Sign up on FYCracing.com. Greatest bunch of people you will ever meet in your lifes. Plus the dsm count is pretty large and probly outnumbers all the other cars. Its is not a club but an online community wich people just do,,,,,, what we do. We have meets almost every sunday during the season, and that one BIG ASS meet every monthish at Colt State Park. I had the time of my life last summer, and this summer is gonna be even better. Dont be shy, just jump right in and dont be a DICK.
This site is great, Dont get me wrong. Im still on it every day. But to have something that is even more local then DSMtuner.com, or even Newengdsm.org is even better.

Im not from RI but I live in Norwich, CT and its not too far from RI. Since there dont seem to be any CT clubs I figure an RI club is good as any:D. Email me or AIM me if you guys start getting something together for spring/summer time.
 
If you want to hop over to CCDSM.net thats connecticut's dsm site and we have over 500 members, we have been going strong for about 3 years now
 
My GS-T that I spun a rod bearing in is up there still LOL. Killed it in North Kingstown should be back up there in june or so looking for a GSX right now but I have a pile of parts up there if anyone needs anything stripped her bare mostly tranny block its all out.

Yea I know what ya mean about working outside up there when I was pulling my motor I about froze do death LOL. Should be home from the sandbox in june if there are any meets going on then. Will be on leave so will have nothing but time.
 
I'm from North Kingstown. I've got a 2g and my friend mike has a 3g and we were trying to do the same thing, get some DSM'ers together.
