dsm mechanics

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew anyone around burnsville, twin cities area that knows about dsm's. I might be needing a clutch install done soon. Thanks!!

Basically everybody does work themselves that owns a dsm.I tried finding one in the mansfield area and columbus but no luck!

Oh I can see why Ive done alot myself and saved thousands. I just have a small garage and not enough time to do this clutch, If it is the clutch. I know a few dsm wise men are from the minnesota area, just need the direction for a trustworthy mechanic.

Yeah definetly try to find someone who has worked on a turbo car before because i had a clutch install done by a shop and i had tons of boost leaks after getting the car back. The clutch worked great though!

Well, I think I found a decent one. I called around to a few places and wanted an arm and a leg, 1000 bucks,like 800 for labor and 200 for the part. So i called this place called a 1, or auto 1,something like that. He quoted me 500. I took it there and got it back yesterday. Got to get the info of which clutch they put in. Oh and they mechanic has worked on dsms before, so hopefully he did everything right. I think my ebay master cylinder rod is a tit short because it engages like in steps. weird. And it is warrantied work, another reason I went there.

my master cylinder was bad and leaking thats the reason why all of my clutches kept slipping . I went through like 3 clutches before they saw it leaking.
