Hey guys... I have a 94 talon DL... crappy 1.8 motor but at least its a 5 Speed . I live in mankato but i cant drive my car right now ### i lost my license. And my sister made one of my cylinders go bad so im gonna make her buy me a 2.0. Do any of you know if I can get a 2.0 motor without having to get a new tranny too?

This has been an issue for a while, since I registered, even. Just keep trying, that worked for me.

From what I understand, the 1.8 tranny can be bolted up to the 2.0. A buddy of mine did it, had some issues initially, but I think it ended up narrowing down to the inspection plate being loose.

Don't post much on here but I am in maple grove and D.D. a 1995 evolution 3.
Just keep trying to get on style. The problems have been fixed now. It is were all us locals are.
We have a weekly wed night meet , 2 dyno days a year, a spring and fall car cruise over the weekend. Ect we are always getting together to work on the cars have a few beers

im from the mankato are....i live by mapleton though. I have been on here since i have had my car, i dont post very much at all though. The site has been a great help with my car though. Since it is almost spring ill probably be on here alot more because ill have my car out of storage and im sure ill be needing some advice when it breaks down again...i say that because i expect something to go wrong with it.

If I had the money I would buy it in a heartbeat, looks to be in great condition. What I don't get is why I could get a fully built 6bolt for 3200 but it has some rust and a little grind in 2nd.
Sometimes I just don't get it, I kinda want a 5speed, but at the same time I want a auto(like yours) just because my first 2 cars were 5 speeds and I'm getting tired of it. With the option of buying a shift box It's almost like having the best of both worlds.

Yea my car is the NICEST and honestly i stress nicest dsm I have ever came across. It is a great project car for someone that doesn't want to have to deal with body work, because everything on the car works and is in great shape, on the other hand its a great car for someone to just buy and do nothing to, they are that nice of cars from the factory that its possible not to do anything to them. And hey I'm a motivated seller pm me an offer and ill get back to you
