MI DSM Get Together?

So are there any DSMers or groups that get together with any regularity in southeast Michigan?

I've just recently gotten back into the game and as all of my former DSM buddies have either moved on or spread out to the four winds, I'm on the hunt to get together with a few guys (or girls) and kick back a few adult beverages, wrench around, or just bullshit. Not a single person I associate is in to cars and I'm tired of getting looked at like I'm speaking greek when I say "I just bought my 4g63 head and am just shopping for a E316G to slap onto my 2ga Spyder!".

Not anymore. There's a few of us just across the border in Toledo that used to head up for the Mich DSM meets though. Could probably round up a couple other old-timers for a get together. Don't know that any of us would want to do it on a regular basis though. Most of the guys I know have dumped their DSMs and moved on now. I've still got mine, but don't do much with it anymore.

Man, that's a bummer. Here I am thinking back to the old days of chillin out in someones garage with a couple of cases of beer wrenching on whoevers car with some lousy CD in just shootin the shit....

I'm not too far from you. There's a couple guys in Rochester that have DSMs as well.

yeah im lookin for a regular thing man, im downriver and all i see here are damn skittles (srt4)

we have a pretty good hang out in wyandotte off the river (legal) but not to many dsm's come out regularly
