dsm/mitsu/turbo meet?

Its been a long time since I was at a proper dsm meet, seeing 30+ dsms, hell, as well as wrx's or evo's anything and everything turbocharged wasn't uncommon. How I remember the days where we would meet up at hooters in Shaumburg and cruise to portillos and then to lower wacker and lake shore and Chinatown. Now all I see is the frequent "strats" threads and when you actually do show up there it's nothing but everyone standing around in their own click bsing around. So hear me now dsmers from abroad, how bout we get somewhat of a real meet going on, and then do the cruise, or at least meet up at hooters and roll deep down to strats? I would forsee a friday or saturday this comming week for this to be the best bet, but Saturday to be prime. Maybe meet up on friday and cruise to strats, and then meet up on saturday and do the whole cruise just like back in the day? What say you?!

Well, 97 dsm 4g63 wants to get some area DSMs to meet up on the 20th(Oct.) and drive down to Starved Rock(Utica) and go for a cruise....id like for all surrounding towns from Rockford to Chicago to Ottawa to join in and make this the "last summer" cruise.

i can remember meeting up with Chicago DSM north, east, central, etc at Portillos and then driving down through Lower Wacker and then to Chinatown...that is a sight to see going through wacker with 30+ DSMs....

...we need to all get a big meet going Strats is ok but, too many clicks going on there...id like to see DSM guys/girls talking about DSM tuning issues, etc. meet up.
