I sold my 90 awd back in april to buy a 92 3kgt vr4 only to have it 3 weeks and total it. Now im carless. I'll be back in the game again soon, once I get my money situation back in order.

Funny you should post here now, seeing that I just signed up again for the forums, as I forgot my old login information.

I've been just as out of the loop as you have, so I'm clueless also, other than the fact that I'm now wheel & tire shopping for my Talon, as I caved in a rear rim the other day taking a turn-off a wee bit too fast!

Got any recommendations for decent tire shops in Springfield?

I tried Big-O on the phone, but the prices were quite a bit higher than anything online. Most of the other places have such poor store hours that I can't get there before they close to even look at what they've got. However, the Sears website has some decently priced tires, and I know they sell rims, so I'm definitely going to check them out this week to see what they've got in the rim department.

I looked at a 96-97 Eclipse N/T the other day at a shop near here that the owner was selling for $600. The engine is toast, but the rest is in decent shape. The body was nice and solid. I've noticed a few popping up for sale lately. I almost bought it myself, but I don't need that type of car...or the parts off it. I was mainly interested in it for the wheels, but it's only got 14" stockers on it. Yet, it was a pretty loaded car options-wise. Makes me think someone took off the original wheels and stuck the little ones on it.
