1st Lake County DSM BBQ and softball meet

Alrighty, someone had to start a post for since jason managed to kicked off the site for some unknown reason you petifile.... just kidding... anyways I was thinking a sunday afternoon at Van patten woods in Wadsworth right off of 173 and 41.... Most likely Sunday May 28th.... We hoping to bbq and what not so I will make the arrangments with the forest preserve police so we can reserve the site.... I will need an estimate on people so let me with the quickness..... If we need to change the date to a later date let me know... I figured a couple weeks would be good... this way Rob would be out of pre school and he could come also... ha, got nothin but love for ya Rob.... any questions post em or call me........

Don't forget we also need softball equipment, a radio, girls for me,....

Ha, agreed...Maybe not the best time...Im trying to make time for the fuel system this weekend, and next weekend I hope to head to GLD for some high 13 base #'s before the full 16g, fmic setup this summer

The weekend after that is the AMS meet which I can't make anyway, but after that Im good

I will be out of school also by then, so at the moment that is my #1 choice for this meet's date....Jason, robb, me and all of us have really been talking about this meet for a while, so we gotta make sure this turns out good...I know a few guys that will head out with me in their turbo dsm's, and I know we can all make this into a very good turnout..Let's keep bumping this thread and spreading the word...This could be really big if we make it that way, or we can keep it small so we can all just have a fun, small bbq and dsm meet as friends....

We'll see, other people should definitely put in input on a date, but Im in no hurry to get this done

The location will be a park somewhere in the lake county area (ha, kinda general)....Jason, Rob or someone else might be able to enlighten us a little more on the specifics...It will be a park with lots of parking (scenic shots ), baseball field and a grill....

It will most likely be taking place at the park on 173 in Zion, just before 173 hits 41 if you were coming from lets say green bay rd (131), Im told its a very nice park, and I think ryan had also mentioned this as a possible location, it sounds like a good one to me....
