im near lawrence KS but i live on the missouri side how close is lawrence from kansas city MO?
 
Im definetly interested. I live in Overland Park, which isn't that far from Lawrence. Where is the drag at Hartland. I usually race at KCIR.
 
I believe that the tuner drags are 10 dollars a car for all day/night. they are usually held on wed. or thursday evenings. About the club. yea im trying to get the locals together to come up with names and places and times to meet.
 
There is a meet on Saturday, July 8th. All local dsms and non dsms are welcome. I am just trying to get everyone in the area together. We will meet at the Raco car wash next to Rex's on Iowa St. here in Lawrence at 5 o'clock p.m.. Once everyone has shown up we will cruise to Lonestar Lake were there will be areas to cookout and also a swim beach. Everyone is welcome to bring their own food and drinks; the more the better. This will last probably through the evening then a cruise back into town and around the city. Let me know who all is coming!! :thumb:
 
I will try to be there. My car is in the shop right now and I don't know if it will be ready by then.:mad: :cry: :sosad: If it's up and working I will show up.
I have no idea where you are talking about so could you pm me with directions on how to get there, or at least tell me the address of this place.

Yeah definitely interested in a Law. club. My brother and I each got 2g's this week so it'd be cool to have a local network of enthusiasts.

Ill try to make it but I cant promise anything.I just bought my 1g dsm and im trying to get it running right.I just finished welding my clutch pedal assembly,and now Im hooking up my boost gauge and boost controller.
 
Im from manhattan. I might think about driving up there. im not a fan of driving my car out of town though :D
 
Just make sure to let us know plenty ahead of time so that we can plan ahead so we can be there.
One thing to consider is having track days where we can all race our cars.
If your coming to the 23rd meet and ## not bringing food, please bring some money, because we're having a hard time getting the $65 for the shelter. If you are bringing food $5 is appreciated :thumb:
 
Yea i'm sorry for the short notice i had it set up but my computer was f ed up so it took me a while to post it. Next time ill make sure to let everyone know more than two weeks ahead of time. Also a local s-10 club (ssx) will be joining with us.
 
How was the meet? How many people showed up? Were there many dsmer'sthere? Any pics?

Not bad, I wish I could have been the third dsm.
The kcsubaru meet is going to be a lot bigger. I hope. Can't wait to see everyone there.
