This is going to be a spectacular meet. Basically, there are 2 captains one for Domestic and one for the Imports. Those of you in the Indy area, may know Dr. Kevin Butterfield. He is the man behind all of this. 70 Domestic and 70 Imports will be chosen by the said captains. How do you apply? The registration site should be up in a few weeks. I will post it on here as soon as I catch wind of it. Stay tuned as I will be posting specific details, but for now who all is interested? It is held at the Mt. Comfort Airport off of I-70. On June 3, 2006. Post here if interested......:dsm:

is there a website for more info or anywhere else?
There will be; however it is not up and running yet. It will contain rules and regulations, and applications for acceptance to make the competition fair. I'll post the site as soon as its up! :thumb:

We are far enough away, to start posting events, classes, and the rules. These will be comming up on this space in the next week or so. This event will surely be HUGE, and a blast! We will have access to most of the airport, as the North/South runway belongs soley to US. As does the "ramp" we did the autoX on last May. This year will have the car show, Vendor row, Lots sunk into advertisement, and open registration via a website. This year will be stiffer competition, as I am the captain for Team Import, and there is another assigned as captain for TEAM USA. It will really be US against THEM. They will have cars such as Ford GT's, Saleen S7's etc.. Not to worry, we will whip them. The winning "team" will also share a large pot of money (5K? more? will see)

Team Import: 70 Cars
Team USA: 70 Cars

Events (tentative):

1. Large auto X Here are THE events. Page 1 didn't list them all!
2. 100-0 braking
3. 700 foot slalom
4. skidpad
5. Drag race
6. 0-60 MPH
7. auto show (not point event) is actually "break time" when you get to this station.

final event Import vs Domestic yet to be determined, but it WILL be exciting to watch!

Same format, 3 attempts, will be able to wave last 2 attempts if you want to.

Rules: TBA
Classes:TBA

All event areas will be going on at the same time, race one station, move to the next. That way, we get it all in, with breaks inbetween.

This is still a Riley Hospital Donation event like last May.

Will post more on this soon, but I just wanted to post this so you can get familiar with this thread, as ALL info about the event will be HERE ONLY! All the way to the final stats will be posted here! Events above could change, but this is the best compilation of determining who is the baddest around:

TEAM IMPORT? or TEAM USA? Stay tuned to find out!

Still haven't heard back on the exact rules regarding tires guys. I really am psyched for this event, I just need to know if my set of Khumo V700 Victoracers will be too much and I should stick to my Falken's.

I know the site that will contain the registration will not be up and running for about 2 more weeks or so. Then a complete set of rules on tires and such will be available for viewing.

is anyone opposed to me posting a link for this on indycarz? i dont wana hijack someone elses thread but im just trying to get the word out

I haven't heard back from these guys for awhile. Not sure what's going on with the whole getup.

I will post the link as soon as I get it so that you can register...it is going to be an evenly matched event, so it depends on who the other team brings to registration...I maybe driving Kevin's Evo VIII in this event...

Entry is all based upon donation...It's for a great cause. It's for Riley Children's Hospital for kids. There will be many kids there from the hospital. I know the website, however; I cannot release it because the site would become too crowded. I'll post the site as soon as i get word that I can release it!!!:thumb:

Website Is Almost Done...they Are Putting The Last Touches On It...i Will Release The Site Most Likely Tonight!!!!

THE WEBSITE IS NOW OPEN...SORRY FOR THE DELAY...REGISTRATION IS NOT OPEN YET...HOWEVER SIGN UP ON THE SITE. BUT DO NOT REGISTER YOUR RIDE FOR THE COMPETITON YET...IT WILL BE UP AND RUNNING IN ABOUT 2 DAYS...BUT FEEL FREE TO LOOK AROUND!!!!!!!:thumb: SITE IS WWW.WINGEDWARRIOR.NET
