Ok, here is the deal. A friend of mine is a Manager of a couple of Belle Tires in Toledo, Oh. I talked to him the other day and he said it would be very cool if I could set something up at the Oregon, Oh. store one weekend. So, I would like to set up a meet for Friday, Feb. 11th or Friday, Feb. 18th. Let me know which day is better for everyone to make it. There is a Pizza Hut right next door for those of you who like to eat. Also, for those of you that need wheels and tires.......hook ups big time!! Anyways, I just need to know which day would be best for everyone so I can call him and tell him which day we will have it on. I will post some directions for everyone in a day or two. This should be a great time so, I hope everyone gets involved. Thanks for reading. :thumb:

Well you can count me in for that meet. Which day its on don't matter to me I can make both days :dsm:

I am thinking Friday the 11th. I am hoping that we get alot of response to this. I will count you in. Thanks

Do you know how cold it is outside? Especially around here. I would be down to meet up in the spring or at least when it gets warm outside. My cars in storage right now along with alot of dsmers. This coming spring though there should be more ppl out with there cars it might be a better time to have a meet like this comin spring.

One would think so unless you've actually tried getting meets together before ;) We get the same turnout when it's crazy cold out as we do on beautiful days in the summer. It's always the same people though too. We do get a lot of new people saying that they'll show up in the summer when it's warm, but none of them ever do. I'm hoping you're the exception to that rule :)

I personally don't know anyone that bothers to store a DSM in the winter. C'mon, it's not a Lambo or anything, it's a relatively common car that just happens to have a good motor in it :) We drive our much rarer MR2's and Supra's in the winter (through the snow and salt) too!

What can I say I like to keep my car looking brand new.. i dont know snow sucks ass and salt will eat my car Id rather keep it stored..I know it isnt a 100k car but I love it nonetheless.

Well that's cool. To each his own. I like my cars so much I can't keep my hands off of them :) If we get all that snow we're supposed to on saturday, I'll definitely be out having a blast with probably both of my cars before the day's over :)

I'm one of the regulars and I'll be there. Both weekends are good for me. :) I love the summer time...that's when the car people come out.

I would go if its in the summer...but I hate the cold and I am not a fan of driving in the snow :)

Well, I would say that 12pm should be a good time to start the meet. As far as directions...

If you are coming from michigan or toledo for that matter, the best way I know of is....

I-75 south to I-280.
Get off at the Oregon (route 2) exit.
Turn left at the light.
Belle Tire will be on the right hand side about 1mile.

Cant miss it.

For those of you who need an address.....I will get it and post it later today. :thumb:

There will be more of these meets at this location that I will be setting up in the future.
(and when its warmer out for those of you that live in the cold but, dont like it).

Well, since more people like Saturdays........Then we will do this Saturday the 12th of Feb. at 12 noon. Sound good to everyone?

Count me in... I'm in Toledo, so Oregon isn't to far for me. how good are these hook ups, i'm needing some summer tires :thumb:

Sounds good to me! I do have a work meeting that morning, but should be able to make it ontime. Maybe just a little afternoon worst case :)

i meant saturday night worked o well time to tell jiffy lube i have a doctors appointment. hope it works :D

As far as the hookups......He will beat any deal you run across. He will prolly only charge a little above cost for wheels and tires. But, like I said he will beat anyone. As far as more meets in April / May......there will be more. The whole reason for doing the meets here is

1. Exposure for our group.

2. Gets him more business and in turn gives us better hookups.

The more meets we have and, the more people we get to come to the meets the better it will be for all of us.

So that means everybody needs to show up and bring 3 friends :) Very few of the DSMers that I know are on Tuners, so I'm letting them all know about it...

im gonna come any of you guys who are going have an extra set of swirlies? Those who go for aftermarket wheels

oh and you just gotta let the salt do its job once you get a good even coat on there

Depending on the weather, I might be able to show up, I need to break my ACT2600 in, and my car FINNALY runs. :)
