311GSX, I actually have a pic of your car from Capitol Speedway.

The second pic is my buddies 1ga. He doesn't use dsmtuners.

I fall in the work in progress category. ;) Actually I bought it that way.
I recently picked it up. I have all the parts to put it back together.
But I may mod it now instead of doing the work twice.

Here's my TSi "project car"

There are some nice 1g's bein posted up. Now how many of you are interested in having an end of summer/beggining of fall meet up? If I have my car up and running by then I will be taking it out to a meet somewhere, so why not with fellow DSM'rs?

It's a beautiful laser but I like my 1ga.

I like 1ga more, for looks. but there are practical advantages to persuade me to keep it... the 6/4 combo, and less moving parts in the headlights for failure... (i had a c4, 4th gen, corvette the popup lights needed a gear rebuild kit to be like new...) not that the lights arent an easy fix, and the winking/half up/down looks pretty bad ass overall.

also i feel like the 92-94 are the most sleeper looking, with the 1ga right behind.

evo3codriver, bad ass ride.

Evo3CoDriver, that is one badass car you have there. Love your mounting of the AFC (at least that's what it looks like), and especially the hood. Where did you pick that up, or is that a custom that you did?

Sik, I'm down, I would love to meet some other local DSM guys. When and where you thinking?

I agree with you on the light issues. My driver's side motor is inop. Haven't really dug into it yet to figure out what is wrong. I replaced the rods from the motor to the assembly (DA owner before me decided since they didn't work he would just take them off and lose them) to the tune of $70 from Mitsubishi, with the parts guy saying "I THINK these are it, I'm not sure, but they cannot be returned and they must be paid for up front." Thank God they were right. I now have disconnected the motor on the passenger side and turned both lights down 1/4 of the way for the "sleepy-eye" look. They look pretty cool and work just as well as they did before I "slept" them.

Well i may as well contribute to this thread.
