Ok so there is a GST that Im looking at. Thing is there is some trans leak issue. Here is what the guy says is wrong

The Bad:
The reason that I’m selling is that the transmission started leaking. I took it in thinking it was an axle seal, since they were just replaced, but it is coming from inside of the bell housing which leads to it being the input shaft seal. It’s not a huge problem since it’s only a seal but it’s work to get to it. All of the internals are fine and run/shift smooth

Anyone know how hard that would be to fix or tinker with if I bought it?

I would think it simple enough to replace. Not a transmission guy by any means, but I'd say the repair would go something like:
1) Remove transmission from car
2) Remove bell housing from transmission
3) Remove old seal
4) Install new seal
5) Reinstall bell housing
6) Reinstall transmission

It's not really all the difficult, but it is work and it will take time. Especially if you have no/limited experience, with DSMs in particular :)banghead:).

After doing all that work though, you should probably check the condition of the clutch, throwout bearing, release fork, and pivot ball as well. Cheap insurance.

At least it's FWD, that trans should come out pretty easy. Once it's out you should have a good idea of where it's actually coming from, then head you your local mitsu dealer or NAPA parts store and get the seal you need.

Got ya. Im trying to figure out if it would be worth getting then. I mean my buddy and I have our own shop, and changed a few mustang 5.0 foxbody transmissions. But then again, this is no foxbody.

true no fox body but pretty freaking easy none the less! Get the axles outta the way and its all down hill, 5spd trans are light enough i dont even use a trans jack, just me and a buddy to yank her out!
