Convertible Top

I might be picking up a GST Spyder. One of the points of me getting it cheaper is the top sooner or later will need to be replaced. Not to mention its that fugly tan color. I want to get a black one. Anyone done the top swap before? I would need some help in doing it myself, or least pay someone to do it for me, but not rape me with labor. Would anyone help out and where to get one? I found one on ebay that looks decent, its black, 300 free shipping, and its a complete top.
