Yes, we will be there....without an engine built as of 11:45 Tuesday morning, we're cutting it close as usual. Let's try to get as many DSM's out there as possible!

Why are you not going to run? Would love to see some dsm's make it down the track this year, it was rough sitting in the stands last year hearing what everyone was saying everytime a dsm came up to the line... im doing a boost leak test today, still trying to find my problem.

Well my car has no tuning since i'm waiting for DSMlink LITE to come out for 1g's. So to run over 16psi i need to run race gas. I have been getting my C-16 from my boss who had a 55 gallon drum of it at my work, but i used the last 3 gallons of it at the Mason Dixon DsmLink drag day.
Plus when i fueled up at the Sheetz on the way home i meant to put about a half tank of gas in the car but put almost a full tank in since i was thinking i was fueling up my truck that holds 24gal.

I also looked in to racing on sunday the 8th about a week ago and called the guys down at MIR to ask them some questions. I figured that i would be in the manual transmission bracket racing class which is $40 to race (includes racing fee for Sat and Sun),but i only have off on Sunday. I work weekends so i only got off Sunday to watch eliminations. They said that for that class I would get one pass in the morning, they would try to get a second pass in if the schedule permits (aint happening-this event is busy).Then around 3PM that class would have eliminations. So I would have about 2 passes down the track depending on how i did in eliminations I may have more. So it would be $40 to race + the cost of race gas where eve i got it ($90/5 gal of C16 at local Machine Shop) + $50 if i rented a trailer since MIR is over an hour from my house. Since i just went racing this weekend, money is a little tight, so I'm just happy to spend the $20 to go and watch. Maybe next year it things work out i'll try to race i this event or imporst vs. domestics.

i feel you on the whole money thing, ive been talking to some of the parts suppliers we use here at my shop trying to work something out and help ease up on some of the cost for this weekend, i had one bite on it, now see if he comes though for me I had one of my stepfathers business partners say he would match whatever my stepdad would put up, but hes a tough nut to crack. i think im going to try to run on sunoco 98 if i make it. I found a problem today with the b.o.v and swapped that out and put my tial on , runs alot better high rpm, going to make a good 3rd gear pull on the way home tonight on 695 and see what the boost gauge does now, messing with it a little while ago it looked like it only dropped off like 3lbs instead of the 11 it had been,

yea i made one yesterday, found leak at the bov, swapped to a different one, made some good pulls last nite on 695, it felt better but was still dropping off a good bit in the upper rpms, so im back to

Gee...thanks for the love rob! I'll see you and Mo down there in a few hours! The car is back together, in the trailer, and we're leaving in a few minutes. I'll probably post a blog or something, I took pictures for each state of assemble that the car was in. I have plenty of before and after shots! See you guys down there!!!

It was great to run in to Dave M. and Shawn and the gang with Boost Boyz and Girlz. Here are some more pics i grabbed at the event. Was a great event, i was sad to see none of the dsm's i saw run were running right. I didn't get a chance to see the black GSX 2g run though. Did anyone else see that car run?
