University of Maryland Spring Meet 08

Anyone heard anything about this??? I heard something about early may this year but also heard that it wasnt finalized. just wondering if anyone has heard anything definitive about it yet.

I used to goto UMD and most my friends live there so i love this event and def dont want to miss it this year.

2008 University of Maryland Spring Meet

• Formula SAE car demo
• 50/50 Raffle
• Raffle Prize
We will be asking for 1(or more) non-perishable food item per person as they enter the lot. If you forget to bring an item or prefer not to, we will collect a $1 donation on your way into the lot. All the donations collected from admission, food sales and the 50/50 raffle are going to be donated to Martha’s Table (Martha's Table | Serving the needs of the Washington, DC community through food, learning, healthy living, recreational and family support services.).

• BBQ, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs on the grill
• Soft drinks and other refreshments

Dyno
• $75.00 for 2 - 3 baseline pulls w/ A/F and printout
• If you are interested in dynoing your car, please send an email to collegeparktuning@gmail.com . We are trying to have people pre-register for the dyno.

I might try to make it, but I really doubt it at this point. I would need about $200-300 that i dont have.

well you have over a month to try an get it haha..... its a great meet and its in the comcast center parking lot (Terps basketball stadium) which is a beautiful view with all the cars and the stadium in the back round. And it get a huge turnout

hey guys - I'm member of College Park Tuning and will be helping out the day of the event. The information posted above is correct!

It's happening on SUNDAY May 4th 2008

It should be a blast and its for a great cause... probably the biggest/best car meet on the east coast now. We took 3 stadium parking lots last year and filled them by early afternoon with around 2,000 cars. Hopefully we can get a lot of 1 and 2g DSM's again this year

Went last year. Turnout was awesome. Not many DSM's though.

I wish it was the following weekend. If it were then I would be back from CU in Colorado and would be so in for the meet. Too bad, hope that they get a big showing of DSM's.

Bump for this weekend.... so far turnout looks insane, should be an awesome time!

Hoping for good weather as well - right now its saying partly sunny, but either way event is on rain or shine
