That's great, good luck!! It's even better that you are a DSM girl!! Whoo Hoo.

If anyone else is planning to camp down there let me know, it would be nice to get a little DSM crew together to shoot the sh!t with.

Anyone know if Shep plans on attending? I went to the first one this year, and he was a no show.

Shep is going, it's on his schedule on his website.. One of the main reasons i'm going.

Even though I just saw shep set a record at the shootout 7.5 hours away. I will also be at the NOPI event this weekend at MIR, hopefully with the GSX!!!

Same with me, i live exactly 7.5 hours away from norwalk too. It was well worth the trip.

Will you be staying at the track any of those night? If so let me know, trying to get a little DSM crew together.

I just found out last night that where everyone is supposed to park at the show is really bad...like a field where everyone is going to park and walk forever to finally get to the show. One of the reasons I'm notgonna drivethe eclipse. Unless you guys are entering the show, I'm not sure if I would drive any lowered car to park in the field near NOPI. Anyone planning on entering their cars? It's 30 bux to enter.

Ill be there, along with a few other members of Team Trinity. I personally will be running some fun runs. And i know we have one car in the car show.

Yes Shep will be there, and he plans on using nitrous as well. So, we may see that 7.95 go down.

we shall see.....

both my DSM's are down right now.. i'll be driving my 92 accord beater. Where's everyone staying over night? at the track?

I'll be there running my 93 gsx. Waiting on my new turbo now hopefully it'll be here soon so I can make it to the dyno friday. Cuttin it close. And a special thanks to Marcmsj for letting me run his transmission on my new hopefully over 500whp setup ;) . Oh yea, i'll be there running the Power Street class. Should be going down friday night and camping at MIR til sunday.

i'm going fri. night to midnight madness then back on sun. i am in nova area if anyone else is going from around my way hit me up maybe roll together. i plan on leaving early fri. afternoon to beat traffic.

Does anyone know for sure camping is available at the track? I just wanna make sure before i head down. Either friday or saturday.

Camping is available if you purchase a weekend pass or are in competition

I don't have a weekend pass yet. I plan on buying one though. Can i buy one in advance or can i buy it at the track friday night?

Good times at NOPI.. Shep ran a record breaking 7.81 !!!

I camped out and did not sleep at all.. it was so freakin hot saturday night.

I apologize for not stepping up to the plate representing the DSM"S as the 1st place winner, but at least I was the runner up. I did a personal best with 13.78 @ 105 in the first qualifier, but blew a head gasket in doing so. That means that I have some making up to do at Norwalk in October. I want to thank Shawn Brown, my crew chief for spending all night putting the car back together and everyone that helped with parts, tools and advice, like RJ and all of his crew, Darryl Hudson, Bill Lowe @ Showdown Motorsports, Luis Corujo @ Paradise Racing, Frankie Piccone, Donte Garrett, Brent Rau and anyone I may have forgotten.

Congratulations to Shepherd, and everyone else who held it down this weekend.

P.S. Real NOPI Chics don't wear bikinis they drive DSM's. :dsm:
