South East VA All Mitsu Meet and Cookout

We are in the first stages of planning an all Mitsubishi (All DSM's and Stealths welcome) Meet and Cookout for early September in the Tidewater ( Virginia Beach ) Area of Virginia. We are trying to secure sponsors and are making plans for a show and cookout. Show your interest and share any ideas or hookups you may have that can help out. We are going to try and make this a major event and if it goes well, would like to have it on an anuall basis. Thanks for your time and keep an eye out for info.

Well, I have to have surgery on my shoulder that's going to put me out for a bit, I'm checking with the person that was helping to see if he wants to still get this together or not.

I got 2 DSM's, not sure if ANY can make it, but I can at least drive down in my beater Nissan. With my bag of tools and help people trouble shoot problems with thier car for free.

hint hint* have an unoffical DSM meet at the Soundshop car show (only 10 bux) in Hampton this saturday from 4-8pm at Gosnold Hope Park (you can cook-out there and there will be music, carnival rides and a virtual reality racing simulator and such, as well) *hint hint.....don't mind me.....

I don't want to have to pay to go somewhere, I just want to chill, eat, and chat it up at someones house with some fellow DSMers. If we go to that there will be Honda guys acting stupid, SRT-4's goes acting "all know-it- all," Supras, flexing thier muscles, and Subies trying to rival us.

Besides I need at least 2-3 weeks advance notice. I'm booked this weekend.

well i don't know how your car is hooked up, just saying you can be in a official car show and be judged (as well as other DSM's) and have a meet, kill 2 birds with one stone. If you're not interested then ok (others maybe), you don't have to get an attitude about it.

My problem is you don't even have a DSM, you just came on here with your Sentra to promote your own agenda.
