420A got car started then went back to cranking

okay, i got back my car together after a few tries. My car is now cranking, does that mean that my valves arent bent and good to go? bc in my last attempt, i was able to start the car, but then it bent my valves real bad.

put all new seals and head gaskets in, and i finally got my car to start.. the car started, and the car was running fine, until i stepped on the gas and it accelerated a little funny, now after the start, it just cranks.. any suggestions?

I would check your timing and all electrical connections to make sure nothing rattled loose. Check the basics, timing, spark, fuel.

my compression was all at 90. about pretty even before i started it up.. man...
