how to use this tranny jack strap

anyone know? having as much with this as I did with a rubix cube.

Would you not just wrap it around the transmission?

yes, but the buckle was quite a conundrum. instead i just went slow and used the strap as like a dog leash to walk the tranny back to my apt. from parking lot. so... I still would like to hear from someone who knows how to secure that buckle

there. closer look. I ran the belt through this a dozen different ways and when you clamp down that -clamp, it doesnt secure the strap, at least when I tried.

Paulyman, you the man. I think you've blessed me with your wisdom many times before ...and I, was expecting a long dragged out multiple response thread on this one. 'put the lead strap into the main strap entry opening and wrap it 135° to reach around the idler bar thingie just behind it then...' So thanks.

I guess I assumed you knew how to use a ratchet strap.
