Starts but doesn't move.

Alright, I went to my shop and well my mechanic told me he drove the car into the garage no problem but when we started it up. The darn car didn't move! I'm thinking it's my clutch but it was fine 7 hours when we drove it in? It doesn't move in reverse or 1st at all. Please helpp!!! I just got everything ready for safety and my heart sunk (felt like it) when i tried to back it out.

So it does not move in reverse or 1st but does move in the other gears? Did you recently have a new clutch put in? What did you bring the car in to have done? Your mechanic could be the problem if it was totally fine before it was worked on.

If it goes into gear and you let out the clutch and it doe not move then sounds like a bad clutch to me. Check to be sure shifting linkage has not come loose near the tranny. Does it move in 2,3,4,5th ? If it does could be an issues with your tranny.
