Leaks-a-plenty

well, our Talon leaks - and leaks a LOT. I had thought at first it was just the front window, had the headliner out to recover it so had hubby's glazier friend put some urethane on where I knew there were two leaks. He wasn't confident it would work though, and it didn't. The seal is messed up around the windshield. He said that it would need to be reset with a new seal and urethane to get it sealed up properly and the windshield would probably break taking it out. The rear window also leaks, but he said that he could get that out and put a new seal and urethane on OK because it's a different type of glass. Anyhow, there are two more leaks at least - at the top of the tail lights where they have a small gasket thing, and then there is a rubber plug on the outside of the seal on the hatch on the driver's side just in front of the tail light that is leaking pretty bad. Any suggestions to get that plug to seal? Type of sealant? Any suggestions for around the tail lights? I think the front windshield I'm going to have hubby's glazier friend run a new bead of urethane all around the inside of the window and see if that works - otherwise we'll have to possibly get a new windshield if we can't get it out whole

Get the hose out and slowly work up the seams and have someone inside checking the leak or you can check every so often, after you find your leaks get some black silicone from Lowes- and dont use RTV! You should be cool

ya, I have found the leaks..... I will see if I can locate some black silicone, thanks
