Knock and high INJ DC. 550's, GM MAS.

I am having lots of "knock" and terrible timing. Mods in profile. I'm running 15psi, GM MAS w/ v2.02 MAF-T, rewired stock fuel pump, RC 550cc injectors. Ported 14b turbo.

Have you checked for boost leaks? Your logs are showing IDC's way over 120%, which isn't normal with 550cc injectors running 15psi on the 14b.

I thought so. i richened things up and got rid of most of the knock. the only issue now is high INJ DC. i will be checking for boost leaks next week. do boost leaks help lead to high INJ DC?

So, richening up the MAF-T two cliks on the WOT knob helped reduce knock to just 4 counts from 22.

I am running a MBC with a small hole in it that leaks boost above the set point. Could this be a contributing factor?

I would consider a fuel pump upgrade after checking for boost leaks and fixing any issues. My fuel system couldn't handle anything over 16psi when I had my 14b, stock pump, and 450's.

I have some small boost leaks and significant leaks from two of 4 injector insulators. however, i can get almost 15psi pumped into it with the car tire pump.

i guess a 190lph walboro would help. i cant see how they are so high with only 14b and 15psi.

Sorry, I've been slacking around here because of how busy I've been at work.

Anyway, fix the boost leaks and your IDC's will come down. Boost leaks cause rich conditions. The larger the leak, the richer things will be.
