I have to be missing something here and I don't know what it is. For some reason at around 5800rpms it starts knocking and my AF ratio goes in the crapper.Even with the W/I its still knocking. Everytime I do a third gear pull its the same thing. I've tried adding up to 15% on my fuel sliders with no luck. I'm also hitting like 90% IDC up there to which I don't think I should be with 650's. Now if I back out of the throttle just alittle it pulls great but full throttle no go.:notgood: No boost leaks last time I checked, new plugs, FP base is 43.5 and rising with boost from what I can tell its hard to look at the FPG at 100mph!

Even with the W/I its still knocking

This is on a freshened up motor:
EVO8 pistons, rods and new rings
E16g
FMIC
FP 1,2 cams
ported head w/ JAM Ti retainers and new springs
bored out 1g TB
port matched intake
FMIC

I'm running DSMlink with AEM wideband, GM 3bar, Turbosmart EBC

Ok I nailed down a few boost leaks. One being the EGR silenoid which was odd. I hit it while I was feeling around and it leaks bad. Anyway as soon as that gets here its getting replaced. My other concern is my E16g is maxing out at 32lbs/min. Whats up with that?? Could I have a bad compressor wheel?

Easy stuff first, make sure all your injector clips and secure on the injector, also make sure your hoses from your wastegate and boost controller are all good and there are no cracks or rips anywhere. Then make sure the flapper on the wastegate is completely shutting.

I have also seen cracks around the wastegate flapper have this same problem and I didn't find it until I had torn the motor completley down.

Thanks for the reply. I fixed all of my boost leaks. for some reason at 5500rpms the air flow signal goes south and makes the motor go lean. My Hz level stays the same and I've moved my airflow and fuel sliders trying to compinsate with no change. I starting to think its my MAFT or a bad GM mas. I have a spare mas and am going to try that tomarrow.
