Question No idea what my first log is telling me!

ok i cant get the hot sync working so i did it manually. I know i was supposed to go 2500 rpms --> redline but 3500 was the slowest i could do for third gear (car behind me)

Ok what do these numbers mean?

My mods are in my profile, and im tuning with an safc2. This is on stock injectors right now (im learning to "walk" before i "run" (Evo 8 560's)

I DID read alot. Ive been reading page after page of info trying to learn how to tune my afc2 with a logger but i just get lost

rpms o2v timing
3500 .01 33
3524 .68 31

It gives us a good enough idea...

Looks like your kinda lean, either turn down the boost or upgrade the Injectors.

Thats odd.. i thought it might be lean. So when it gets lean, its pulling timing (knock?) are there any areas where i should add more fuel? I have all my settings zeroed out right now. Im only on 16 psi, with a walboro 255, XSpower fmic/short route. full 3", t28, etc.. i didnt think id would be that lean.

So, on stock injectors, with everything zeroed out, can i still add fuel along the rpm range? What RPM points show the most lean situation? Thanks canadian!

I'd start adding a bit from about 4500rpms and up. I'd like to see your peak timing around 17*.

Yes; when you start to get too lean or too rich, your ECU will start pulling timing. We can see this at several RPM points in your log.

Also you bottom out at 4* of timing at 3716. I'd say thats quite low, mine doesn't really go below 8-10*. Try taking out a bit of fuel around that RPM.

You can try adding some fuel but that might make you fuel cut.

Your timing should dip to around 9 when full boost hits and then slowly climb to the factory max of 16 (once you start taking out airflow with the S-AFC this will make the timing go higher) Any time the timing dips or stays the same for awhile after the initial Dip it means you are knocking.

Also around .94 is generally a good o2 voltage to shoot for, it's not the greatest but it gives you an idea that when your seeing .89 your kinda on the lean side. One the other hand if you were seeing .98-1.00 volt we would know you were pretty rich.

So Either turn the boost down 1psi or so and do another log or add like 5% fuel from 4k on up.
