It depends, what is your budget?
You can index your plugs
I would buy a manual boost controller, you can find one for around 20 bucks
with your boost controller you can up the boost to probably 15lbs
is it a 6 bolt?
with the 6 bolt you can pick up an aftermarket fuel pump and up it to around 20lbs safely

ive had this 1st tsi for about 3 weeks now and ever since ive had it, its had a bad idling problem. its surges bad. when you first start it up it revs to about 2300 rpm and stays there for about 30 sec then begins to surge. i deleted the egr thinking it may have been that but not luck. any ideas?

ISC. It is an $80.00 part, but it will fix the surging. I had the same issue. You might be able to pick one up at a pick-a-part fro a few bucks

Hey don't want to thread hi-jack ya bro, but my 95 TSI AWD has been having Idle problems too lately, I start the car and she idles fine at roughly 1000-1200. I don't know if thats high or not, to me it seems fine. After she warms up it'd drop to 450-500... Popped hood got to looking around noticed something was unplugged by the throttlebody. I'm new to DSM's so i honestly don't know what it was, I'd assume to be the IAC valve, maybe? At first everything seemed fine took for a test drive for about 10 miles, came back home idled perfect. started it up about an hour later idle still great went down to the end of the block stopped at the stop sign, boom idling at 1400 then it built itself up to about1700-1800 then drops back down to 1400. Any help/advice would be much greatly appreciated.

ok i went out to advanced and got a brand new isc and it still didnt fix the problem. its still surges from 1300 to about 1700 rpm. anything else. think it might be the tps? im running out of things to check. i checked for vacume leaks and didnt find any... someone help!!!
