like father like son: 350z Track Edition vs 1g AWD DSM

My dad got a 350z track edition last year, he lives in cali mind you and i havent seen it, but according to car and driver it runs a 14.1 @101 mph, while i last ran a 13.6@ 102. since then i have gotten a 3" turboback with o2 dump, i still have to put my hks cams, FMIC and act2600 in (they are all sitting in my garage).

needless to say, i think i will royally spank him esp with the awd launch i am gonna lay on him. here is some diaglog from our IMs:

When the next body style for the vette comes out my dad says he's getting a ZO6...I said cool cause then I can race you and spank you. He laughed and thought I was kidding...supposedly the next gen Z06 is going to have even more hp...I'll probably run race gas and have a 50 trim by the time he gets one...so I will really hand his ass to him...can't wait

I say you race him and hand his ass to him...:laugh:

ah both nice cars, but jesus the z is like a rembrandt painting, its a masterpiece. Yes you can race him and win, and yes dsms are mostly built for go, but he still has a z and that is badass....
p.s. my pops really wants an sti evo or z.... yea dad buy one so I can drive it... hehe

Meh, am I the only one who thinks the 350Z is too... bland? I don't know. Maybe I'm too much of a rice rice bodykit fan, but jeeze, it just doesn't seem to have any character with that front end.

I mean, I love minimalism, but sometimes there needs to be something else.

This front end seems much nicer than the stock "big rectangle" air intake, yet keeps the stock lines of the car, which aren't really that bad.

A subtle change to the rear end can be more than enough difference to make the car look a lot better.

The Mazdaspeed RX8 is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Sexy...I have thought about quitting with DSMs to get one...but I'm only 17 and I have no money...so thats why I have only thought for short instances

There's talk that the next ZO6 will be at exactly 500hp to compete w/ the Viper. Now that car is sexy!
