Rim color choices?? Opinions needed.

Whats up everyone.

I have some wheels here, picked them up so cheap it wasn't funny. The current wheels on the car are not my style. I'm a 5 or 6 spoke guy.

Wheels that came with the car below, going to be sold soon.

Wheels i'm going to be painting below, going to be matched with a nice set of 225/45/17 tires.

The wheels are a flat black color and they def. need redone.

I have an OEM hood on the car now and the skirts and new front bumper I have will be painted white soon to match the vehicle.

At first I was thinking a Dark Red, just to be clean a different. My buddy thinks I should go with a Gloss Black, then I was thinking of Bronze.

What do you guys think?

I would either redo them a low gloss black or bronze.

A guy i know has black chrome wheels on his rx-7. Always thought that looked sweet

Go bronze , it looks good with white. I did my calipers . I look at em ever day .... I am like damn that's sexy .

A nice flat bronze would look decent but yeah I wouldn't go straight up gold. You could always go white on white if you wanted an old school look.

Op when I was looking to paint some wheels I found great reviews on the dupicolor bronze wheel paint. From what I read on other forums to get the deep bronze look they used the flat black base made by dupicolor and then put the bronze coat over it. Then some people used the clear others didn't.

Just thought I would share what I found on the topic. Good luck!!

Its funny you mention that, I was actually looking at that exact color. I appreciate that information though. I think im going to paint one wheel with normal primer, and another with black primer and then see which color is best.

Going to be ordering some cans to start the painting soon.

i think they would look best on your car if they were gloss black, broze or gold.

if you domt go with any of those i would go with black with a red' blue or silver trim
