Check out my 100% stock 95 Talon TSI AWD with 72k original miles. The best part, is that it cost me 3k bucks!

Very nice! Great price too. Any plans for the car, or just keeping it a reliable DD? Also, have you checked your date of production? You might have VLSD and EPROM waiting to be discovered :D

I haven't yet. I literally bought the car a few hours ago but tomorrow i'm gonna start tearing into it. In the door jam there was a VLSD sticker though:) I'm hoping I have an EPROM as that will save me a bit of money when I get DSMLink.

As for plans, i'm still debating between bolt ons and a full build.
One thing I know for sure is that I'm gonna swap a 5 speed in it.

amazing deal dude....you should get the maintenance done first and then do some bolt ons with tuning and see how you like the auto. I'm not big on it myself but at the end of the day even on a dd your less likely to rip on it all the time and it should last longer.

WOW, that is pretty clean and low miles too! Drive it like you stole it man, because I think you stole that for 3K! Can't wait to see the mods.

wow man, low miles, clean body, aslong as theres no major work needed you got a friggen STEAL for 3k!!! thats awesome, great find!

im personally partial to a manual trans myself, but im sure we all know about the sucess thats been had with auto dsm's. so it might be worth it to see how you like it after a few mods and a nice tune ;)

good stuff its got a vlsd, hopefully you got an eprom in there aswell!! once again, awesome buy dude, goodluck in the future with that beauty.

Keep it auto man! Auto allwheel is a blast! I miss mine everyday! Such a fun car. Wait till you get a few bolt ons and brake boost it! Nice car by the way, good find for sure!

I've been looking for another DSM for so long but everything in Alaska is typically way overpriced. I can't believe how clean this thing is and for how much I got it for. I feel like I'm going to wake up haha. So far the only thing I found that doesn't work is the cruise control.

After driving it around for a bit the auto isn't as bad as I expected but I still love 5 speeds way more. And I'm very aware of how fast and strong autos can be, but this won't be my daily driver do I just want a fun weekend warrior.

First thing I'm gonna do is all the maintenance. Timing belt, water pump etc... I'm definitely

Jesus, with all the auto leg-humpers..

Great find man. I love how clean it is LOL..

Haha I'm with you. Auto is fine, I'm not hating on it but IMO 5 speeds are just way more fun to drive.

It's super clean, and there is no rust whatsoever which blows my mind since Alaska cars are normally rust buckets.

Gah! I'm so excited haha, I can't help but smile everytime I see it.

Your oil cap is upside down. That is driving me nuts.
LOL

Super clean! And I can understand how people prefer a manual over an auto (I know I do) but the autos are almost bulletproof if you keep up on maintenance. See if you like it or not. I love mine but somedays I would just rather have a manual.

Auto with a shift box.... The benefits of both worlds. I would love to have one, but that said, I have a 5 speed and it is pretty fun to drive. I think that is the only 2g turbo AWD I have ever seen that still has the stock air filter box. LOL

I know everyone is gonna hate me for it but it's getting converted to a 2gb eclipse and being painted white along with a 5 speed swap.
As for the fog lights, they are in the trunk, one of them is broken. For now I'm just going to enjoy it and leave it stock and reliable.
I bought a new car to be my DD but that won't be here until August/September. Once that gets here the build shall begin.
I'm excited for my new car too though, 2013 Ford Focus ST3; should be a fun little hatch.

im looking for a dsm as well! great find, where did you find it? craigslist?

Ya I was at work in the North Slope and was browsing Craigslist. When I saw it I begged the guy not to sell it till I got back and could look at it. Showed up and it was gorgeous with low miles so I handed him cash and that was that. Very happy with the purchase. Now I've just gotta save some money and do a lot of research for the 5 speed swap that i'm gonna try and do for the first time LOL
