Venting/Sharing/Looking for Advice

A couple months ago, a friend of mine (now ex friend) gave my girlfriend a 420A Eclipse while she made payments each week. I moved 3 hours north after getting a job, and she will be moving up soon as well as soon as we get a new apartment up here.

2-3 weeks ago, my ex friend (lets call him...Ricer) notified my girl friend and said they were coming to pick on the 420A because Ricer's wife blew up her Stratus.

We were stunned that they would take the car away from us after we had been making payments for quite some time. Obviously, we were upset, tried to keep the 420A because that was my girl friends only means of transportation.

There was a falling out, car was given back, blah blah blah.

I have several DSM parts at his place. Including a re-freshened 1G head that I sold for $300.

I have not been in contact with Ricer because Ricer's wife won't let him talk. So I have to go through Ricer's wife when making plans.

Today, didn't go well via text. It doesn't look like I am going to be able to get any of my parts. And I have a lot of parts there.

Needless to say, we are going to take this to court. Why? Because, we adults have to be childish.

Anyone "know a guy who knows a guy"?

that sucks dude. but i guess thats what you get for trusting people... personally i would have gotten the agreement about the car in writing, so something like that couldn't happen.

and honestly, if they tried to take it back, and were going to report it stolen or something i would have wrapped it around a tree, just for the principle.

Since this has happened, we have been reading up on something called the "Lean Law". According to this Lean Law, we will make out great in court.

We even spoke with the state magistrate and when we told her what happened, she said we would most certainly get our money back. At the very least.

can't get blood from a stone brotha. sounds like ricer is hurting for money, so chances are they will owe you the money. and never pay it back. my grandmother was in a similar situation, where someone owed her money, and she took them too court and won. now they are paying her 10 dollars a week

Im the guy hes talking about. Me and aj have avery long history, which involves a lot of me bending over backwards helping him out. I lent them the 420a when his motor blew in his talon, and after awhile we decided it would be better if he bought it. They were driving it for 4 months in my name, my registration, my insurance. Out of the 4 months they only paid 150 dollars. Before we made the "agreement" he would buy it, they never offered a dime to help pay for the insurance while they were driving it. My wifes car blee up and i needed a car, and asked for it back temporarily. They declinded, and being the car was still in my name and they only paid 150 out of the 1500 we agreed on, i took it back. I never said you couldnt get your parts. You forgot to tell them you have a shifter assembly and a radiator that belongs to me. You forgot to tell them who gave you a motor to fix your talon. You forgot to mention who bought you two headgaskets, a front case gasket and other miscellanious parts for your vehicles becaise you had no money. You forgot who gave you lowering springs for free because you had no money and you really wanted them. You also forgot who helped you for months trying to get your 1g fixed staying out till 3am in the garage, just to let the car rot on my property and still let it sit there after being told numerous times to get it the #### off my property. If anyone wants to call me a douche for doing what i did, so be it. Nobody knows HALF of the story or HALF of the shit i have done for this kid.

Also i might add, we took it back 2 days before my registration expored, partially because i disnt want them driving it around with an expored registrarion in my name. I gave them 2 months notice that it would be expired, and they never decided to get the title or registration handled.

Your wife said I couldn't have the parts. Why? Because she walks around with your balls in her hand and won't let you speak for yourself.

The reason I have the shifter assembly is so you didn't have to give it away to another guy that wanted it.

The radiator you speak of is his as well. Not yours.

Your wife wanted us to get insurance for it while it still being in your name. That is impossible to do. Communication is key. Which we lacked. And still lack.

I called her because she was not making any sense at all via texting. Your wife...isn't easy to deal with. Like she came into my girl friends work that one time at the Vet Clinic and spazzed out because she couldn't get meds for the cat. Like...who does that?

I called her to discuss things. She has no recollection as to what's going on or what has happened in the past. If you don't want to talk to me, why is your wife wanting to talk to me for then?
